Online Christian life coaching focuses on practical goals such as communicating more effectively, setting healthier boundaries, following through on personal goals, building consistent routines, and making clearer decisions.

Our Christian Life Coaching Focus Areas
Relationships and Communication
Motivation and Follow-Through
Communicate your needs more clearly, set and maintain healthier boundaries, prepare for difficult conversations, listen more effectively, and respond to recurring disagreements more constructively.
Reduce procrastination, begin tasks that may feel overwhelming, create accountability, rebuild momentum after setbacks, and follow through on the personal goals and commitments that matter most.
Life Structure and Direction
Confidence and Self-Advocacy
Build more consistent routines, organize competing responsibilities, reduce overcommitment, clarify your priorities, and make thoughtful decisions about the direction of your life.
Become more assertive, speak up with greater confidence, say no without excessive guilt, handle criticism more effectively, ask for help, and trust your own judgement.
01
Clarify What You Want to Change
We begin by identifying the relationship pattern, personal habit, routine, decision, or goal you want to improve. Then, we define what meaningful progress would look like in your daily life.
03
Practice and Follow Through
Prepare for difficult conversations, practice new ways of responding, apply your plan between sessions, and use accountability to remain consistent when motivation fades.
02
Create a Practical Plan
Together, we turn your goal into realistic next steps, prepare for likely obstacles, and establish accountability for consistent follow-through.
How Christian Life Coaching Works
04
Review Progress and Adjust
Examine what worked, identify obstacles, learn from setbacks, and adjust your next steps so your approach becomes more practical and your progress more consistent and sustainable.

Matthew Hilley, M.Ed, BCBA, is a Christian educator with more than a decade of teaching experience, a Master of Education, and board certification as a behavior analyst. He believes that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior and that Christian faith should shape the way people communicate, make decisions, keep commitments, and respond to others.
Through his work with more than 100 families, Matthew has helped people strengthen communication, develop more consistent routines, follow through on important goals, and make practical changes in daily life. The Practiced Word brings that same structured, personalized, and accountability-focused approach to one-on-one Christian life coaching.
Each session focuses on what the client can control: clarifying the goal, identifying realistic next steps, preparing for obstacles, practicing new responses, and reviewing progress honestly. Christian Life Coaching is grounded in Scripture, and is focused on helping people move beyond simply knowing what they want to change to practicing it consistently in everyday life.
